Cook’s of Cranleigh Acquired by the Bourne Family
Local Removals and Storage company, Cooks of Cranleigh, has been purchased by the Bourne family. The new owners plan to retain Cook’s of Cranleigh’s separate identity and continue with business as usual following the friendly takeover as a result of the Cook family wishing to retire.
East Sussex, United Kingdom, March 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Local Removals and Storage company, Cooks of Cranleigh, has been purchased by the Bourne family.
The new owners plan to retain Cook’s of Cranleigh’s separate identity and continue with business as usual following the friendly takeover as a result of the Cook family wishing to retire.
All staff will be staying with the company and the new owners look forward to working with a highly skilled and experienced team in taking the business forward with support from the Bournes group management team.
The Bourne family, also own Bournes and Turks removals who offer local moving services in the Kent, East Sussex and London areas. Bournes International removals also provide specialist Overseas and European removals and storage services.
Both Cook’s of Cranleigh and Bournes are active members of the British Association of Removers and the acquisition maintains the family owned, personal service ethos whilst increasing the capacity and coverage of the Bournes group into the Surrey and South West London Markets as well as providing Cook’s of Cranleigh the ability to offer its clients expert International and European removals services.
Cook’s of Cranleigh was established in 1945 and has built a strong reputation as a family company offering personal, professional, high quality services in the local removals market. With 10 vehicles and an expert team of 20 crew Cook’s of Cranleigh undertake over 1200 removals a year and also provide secure, containerised storage.
