Australia's Ayers Rock Resort Launches a New Dining Experience Under the Outback Sky
Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia announces the launch of Tali Wiru--Australia's newest, exclusive and unparallelled outback dining experience.
Los Angeles, CA, March 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Voyages is proud to announce a new "under the stars" dining experience at Ayers Rock Resort launching April 1, 2012. Aptly named Beautiful Dune in local Ananu language, Tali Wiru is reserved to a group of twenty people making it one of the most exclusive dining experiences in Australia's outback.
The evening begins with French champagne and canapés around the fire while guests are serenaded by the classic sounds of the didgeridoo. As the sun sets over Australian icon Uluru, Tali Wiru guests will make their way to the private dune top to take in the local landscape's changing color and begin an intimate, four-course dinner coupled with premium Australian wines.
In reference to the most recent development at Ayers Rock Resort, Voyages Executive General Manager Ray Stone said, "We are genuinely excited about launching this new experience. Our first endeavor into 'under the stars' dining, Sounds of Silence, has seen extraordinary success through the years so it's great to offer something which builds on that legacy. Tali Wiru serves as a spectacular option to those who are looking for a more intimate option that is dedicated to fine dining in Australia's outback."
For the foodie at heart, Tali Wiru's bush tucker inspired menu is sure to stir the senses. Guests can expect anything from Wattleseed Rubbed Kangaroo Carpaccio to Macadamia and Lemon Myrtle Crusted Barramundi Fillet. A perfect ending to a perfect evening, a local storyteller will share celestial creation stories while coffee, tea and dessert wine is served. Tali Wiru allows guest to experience the outback in full—from it's local fare, landscape and even lore.
Tali Wiru launches on April 1st, 2012 and will run every day of the week except Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost is $295 per person and lasts approximately four hours.
