Hall of Famer, Tommy Lasorda, to Sign Signature Wines at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria

Scottsdale, AZ, March 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Legendary Baseball Hall of Famer, Tommy Lasorda, is teaming up with another legend, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria in Peoria, to feature his collection of Italian table wines. On Tuesday, March 20th, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will be hosting a wine tasting and bottle signing of Lasorda’s signature wine, Montelpuciano D'Abruzzo.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is located at 9788 W Northern Avenue, in the Park West shopping center. Lasorda, a frequent visitor of Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will be available to meet and greet with patrons from 6:30 pm to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Legendary Baseball Hall of Famer, Tommy Lasorda, looks forward to sharing his Lasorda branded Italian wine with his friends and family around the world. The Lasorda wines have been carefully selected by Casa Torelli Imports from leading wine producing Regions in Italy. Of the six carefully selected varietals in his collection, Lasorda is most proud of his signature Montelpuciano D'Abruzzo wine. All of his varietals hail from the homeland of his father, Sabatino.
