Total Transit/Discount Cab Secures Contract with City of Maricopa
Latest contract win continues Total Transit’s geographic expansion
Phoenix, AZ, March 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Total Transit, parent company to Discount Cab, is proud to announce that it was recently selected by the City of Maricopa, Ariz. as the primary demand-response transportation service provider, from Jan. 3 through Sept. 20, 2012. According to this contract, Total Transit will provide reservation-based transportation both within the city of Maricopa and to medical centers in Chandler, Ariz. and Casa Grande, Ariz.
The selection process for the City of Maricopa involved a rigorous RFP process, requiring multiple years experience in operating, managing, and reporting on a Federal Transit Administration program. The selection process was based on the technical capabilities of operations and administration, as well as competence in operating policy and procedures and safety program training for employees.
