Curtius Technologies Inc. to Showcase a Fully Upgraded High-Speed Envelope-Making Machine at DRUPA 2012 in Germany
Curtius Technologies Inc., a well-established name in the pre-owned envelope converting machine industry will be exhibiting a completely reconstructed and upgraded high-speed envelope-making machine at DRUPA in Germany on May 3 - 16, 2012, in Booth B28, Hall 11.
Atlanta, GA, March 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Atlanta-based Curtius Technologies Inc., a well-established name in the pre-owned envelope converting machine industry will be exhibiting on booth B 28, Hall 11 at the DRUPA in Dusseldorf, Germany from May 3 to May 16, 2012. The company will showcase a completely reconstructed and upgraded high-speed envelope–making machine W+D 527 with a focus on fast-job changes, reduced waste and non-stop production.
Curtius Technologies Inc. commands a leading market position in reconstructing; selling and servicing used envelope-making machines that exceed original performances at a fraction of the cost of new equipment. The reconstruction process, which involves in particular replacing all obsolete electrical and mechanical parts by new state-of-the-art technology, boosts the overall performance of the equipment and lowers maintenance costs thanks to more readily available spare parts.
Curtius Technologies, which started reconditioning and trading pre-owned FL Smithe machines in the late 1980s, was so successful that soon the Company started applying their expertise to other brands in the industry such as Halm and Winkler and Dünnebier (W+D).
But what really sets the company apart from competition is their unsurpassed ability to turn old underperforming equipment into fully automated machines thanks to several servo-technology upgrades.
“The most important for us,” says Irakli Razmadze, Vice President of Curtius Technologies Inc. “is to provide clients with a competitive edge by offering cost-effective equipment with technical upgrades that help them increase production throughput while maintaining the quality of the end product.”
True to the company’s commitment, the rebuilt W+D 527 machine showcased at DRUPA will feature several technology upgrades including a web-change servo drive for fast size change, a registration unit for pre-printed web to maximize productivity and a touchscreen for ease of operation.
“In this time and age, there is no such thing as one size fits all, so we are also focused on creating the right solution for each and every customer,” adds Razmadze. “We can customize and tailor-program a machine to match the exact production requirements and requests of any client,” he concludes.
