Chicago, IL, March 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Follow the Founder of Talisman Book Publishing LLC, author Kersten L. Kelly, in her newest publication that dissects current events and products using economic theory as an explanatory guide to the ordinary world we live in.
Author Kersten L. Kelly dives deep into how pop culture, history, and social trends are linked through economic theory. She divulges opinionated explanations on current topics by incorporating economics into the equation. The book is entitled "ec·o·nom·ics: a simple twist on normalcy" and is written in as a narrative non-fiction.
The book is applicable and enjoyable for anyone that has ever purchased gas, idolized a professional athlete, or owes money on a student loan (which encompasses the vast majority of the population). It is a compilation of timely examples that show readers just how heavily economics influences their daily life. It will give readers a new perspective on how simple, normal activities have a much greater impact than what meets the eye.
"I took all of the topics I love--sports, pop culture, education, business, history, and sociology-and explained them through an economic lens. Anyone can embrace a better understanding of the choices they make every day. This book will help a reader do that," stated Kersten Kelly.
The book was published in March 2012 and is available in both paperback and eBook format on Amazon.com or through www.theeconomicsbook.com.
