Kremlin Films’ “Mirror Wars” Attacks Russian B.O., Now Aims at the U.S. and the World

Kremlin Films, a Moscow-based production company specializing in international feature film production, announced today that their film “Mirror Wars : Reflection One”, that opened #1 at the Russian Box Office this September, will be looking for distribution during this year’s AFM in Los Angeles.
The film, starring Armand Assante, Malcolm McDowell and Rutger Hauer was directed by acclaimed Russian director Vasili Chiginski, and written and produced by Kremlin Films’ prexi and maverick Russian producer, Oleg Kapanets. “Mirror Wars : Reflection One” is an action packed thriller featuring mind-blowing aerial fight sequences filmed using some of the hottest Russian military fighter jets. The plot of the movie revolves around a top secret Russian military stealth fighter that is caught in the middle of a deadly triangle between Special Forces and Intelligence agencies of Russia, the U.S. and China, eventually to be stolen by terrorists targeting the leader of the free world.
“It is an incredible adventure, that is played out by an incredible cast,” says Oleg Kapanets, writer/producer of “Mirror Wars”. “We were thrilled to have such talented actors as Armand (Assante), Rutger (Hauer) and Malcolm (McDowell) involved in this project.”
“Everyone was extremely warm and friendly,” said Armand Assante, one of the stars of the film. “The story embodied some very strong characters and it was a lot of fun to shoot.”
“Mirror Wars : Reflection One” held a premiere screening in Los Angeles last Thursday, October 27, 2005 for a variety of media, distributors and celebrity guests. The event was attended by Rutger Hauer, the film’s producers, as well as other notable faces as Adrianne Curry (“My Fair Brady”), Trisha Simmons (“Desperate Housewives”) as well as numerous Russian dignitaries and entertainment industry professionals.
