John Anagnost, former president of search marketing agency Reprise Media, has been named to the new position of Vice President, Sales, Eastern Region for leading digital marketing hub provider [x+1].

His responsibilities will include new business development and managing strategic agency relationships.
Anagnost brings more than 12 years of digital marketing experience, most recently as the president of Reprise Media, a leading search marketing agency. He has extensive knowledge of the biddable media landscape and site-side marketing, and has led global clients in the delivery of large-scale digital campaigns.
At Reprise Media, Anagnost ran the company’s U.S. operations, including a focus on business development and upgrading its search capabilities. Prior to Reprise, he was head of consumer marketing for Bloomberg.com and Businessweek.com, where he ran the digital marketing teams for both domains.
Anagnost also spent many years as a management consultant for Ernst & Young, delivering enterprise-scale software solutions. He started his digital career in 1999 at Modem Media (now Publicis Modem) where he worked with [x+1] Chairman and CEO John Nardone, who was then President, International and [x+1] President and Chief Operating Officer Peter Massey, who was Senior Vice President and General Manager.
