PREMIER Biosoft Releases Beacon Designer™ 8.0 with Support for Exon Junction Primer Design

Palo Alto, CA, March 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- PREMIER Biosoft today announced the release of the latest version of its comprehensive real time oligo design tool, Beacon Designer™ 8.0 with the ability to design primers across exon-exon and exon-intron junctions for selectively amplifying cDNA from a mixture of genomic DNA. The exons and introns are identified by interpreting GenBank header annotations when sequences are fetched from NCBI.

Also included in this version is the ability to set user-defined design parameters templates. Users can tweak the program's default design parameters to meet their experimental requirements and save them as templates for repeated use.
