Richard will open these breakfasts to any business owner in the area and they will meet at Goldy's Breakfast Bistro (108 South Capitol Boulevard, Boise, ID 83702) at 7:00am for an hour discussing the challenges in business today and how owners can not just survive, but thrive in this economy. Richard McDowell traveled the U.S. to meet with business owners after retiring from a job in corporate America. With every new company and new owner he discovered unique approaches that each successful owner would take in their business that created levels of success in that individual area that was beyond what the industry average could ever dream of. The more that he saw these mini “diamonds” in each business, the more that he dreamed of the tremendous impact that an owner could make if he knew of all of the “diamonds.” With no writing background, but with a dream of bringing a secret weapon to small business owners, Richard set out on his journey to write a book that would outline the secrets that the most successful private businesses use. Behind Your Boss’s Door is the culmination of his work and he is very excited to give his insights to business owners in Boise. “Running a business is hard, but I have yet to find a business owner who, given tools, can’t improve his situation very quickly.
