Berkeleys Celebrates 21 Years of Prime Property Sales in Canford Cliffs, Poole, Dorset
Berkeleys is delighted to announce the celebration of its 21st anniversary of leading residential property sales in Canford Cliffs, Poole.
London, United Kingdom, March 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Berkeleys is delighted to announce the celebration of its 21st anniversary of leading residential property sales in Canford Cliffs, Poole.
2012 will be a significant year for the Company, as it prepares to recognise the occasion through a series of engaging local events this Spring /Summer. Since opening the office in Canford Cliffs village, Berkeleys is proud to have sold over 1,500 properties in the area. In Spring 1991, when the office opened, one of the first properties sold was located in Haig Avenue and sold for £250,000. It was a high point at the time. That same property was, however, sold again only last year for £1.6 million, reflecting the solid investment performance of the area. Always an attractive destination for second-home owners and families, today the area continues to draw new home owners from far and wide – embracing local, national and international buyers.
Berkeleys will be celebrating its strong association with the village by publishing a commemorative heritage photography book recounting the history of the area. In addition, Berkeleys will also be hosting a summer exhibition entitled: “Canford Cliffs, Poole: Heritage & History.” Berkeleys has teamed up with local historian, Iris Morris and the Andrew Hawkes Poole Photographic Archive to realise these events.
The Berkeleys office itself has long history, revealed through opening local archives. Looking back into the last 100 years plus, one would have found the Post Office, opened in c. 1893. Later Parson P. & Sons Ltd. traded from the very same location. Today, Berkeleys enjoys prominent visibility, at the gateway to Canford Cliffs village with the same enviable postal address of No.1 Haven Road.
“We are unique, as a prime property agent, in being able to recognise the 21st anniversary of our residential property business in Canford Cliffs,” says Associate Partner, John Jennings. “At a time when the area is generating more and more national media attention, we can celebrate our local heritage and longstanding sales achievements for our many clients, as well as share the depth of our local knowledge of Canford Cliffs village.”
“We plan to make 2012 a truly memorable year for Berkeleys and we look forward to enjoying our celebrations with local clients, families and business partners. We have a perfect occasion to celebrate the strong emotional attachment between Berkeleys and Canford Cliffs village,” continued Jeremy Priestley, Berkeleys Director, RICS member and former Managing Director of Hamptons International.
21st Anniversary celebration dates will be announced by the company in due course.
