Ltd recently attended the specialized hands-on Cerakote™ training program to become Cerakote™ Factory Trained and Certified. Sonakote Pvt. Ltd will be the official Cerakote™ distributor for all of India and will specialize in providing Cerakote™ ceramic coatings to industrial, firearm, and high temperature markets.
Sonam Mathigongma, the owner and founder of Sonakote Pvt. Ltd, is a graduate of Gavlin College in Hollister, California, and is an FAA licensed mechanic in aviation power plants and airframes. He has restored various World War II aircraft, such as a P-51 Mustang and F4U Corsair. Utilizing his knowledge of aerospace technology, Sonam has created the Aerofiber Art Casting technique to design and build Tibetan and Buddhist architecture around the world, ranging from Bylakuppe, India, to Madison, Wisconsin. His architectural and coating work led him to discover the benefits of Cerakote™ ceramic coatings. He chose Cerakote™ because he needed a coating that offers superior wear resistance, excellent corrosion protection, and industry leading impact, scratch and chemical resistance. Sonam is very excited to bring the qualities of Cerakote™ ceramic coatings to a variety of industries throughout India.
Prior to the formal distribution agreement, Sonakote Pvt. Ltd introduced Cerakote™ products beginning in early 2011 to a limited number of international manufacturing companies in India.
