AAC Wristbands Help Put the Sparkle in the Sydney Mardi Gras 2012
Gold Coast, Australia, March 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- AAC ID Solutions, the Gold Coast based ID solutions provider, were proud to be a premier supplier of a variety of wristbands for the 2012 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
The annual Mardi Gras festival kicked off on the 12th of February and continued with a huge range of events all over Sydney, leading up to their famous parade on the 3rd of March. Originally starting as a protest march in 1978, the general objective now is to raise the visibility of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex communities.
AAC ID Solutions provided the 25mm Australian-Made Tyvek wristbands worn by the participants. They also provided the custom plastic wristbands worn for the MardiGrasland Party and for ticketholders watching the parade from Club Tropicana.
The Tyvek wristbands were custom printed on bright colours to be easily identified. The Plastic wristbands were custom printed on sparkle-effect Straight Wave Plastic.
The Sydney Mardi Gras uses the wristbands to identify the different types of attendees. This helps with security and revenue protection, as both Tyvek and Plastic are excellent options for the single day events held during a festival like this one.
Tyvek is available in a huge range of colours for branding purposes or to differentiate each individual event. It is also non-transferrable, durable, comfortable, waterproof and is available in both 19mm and 25mm widths.
Plastic is also available in at least 15 colours, is made from a high gloss laminate plastic and is available in plain, holographic and sparkle designs. It can also be custom branded with logo, or event name details.
Festival chair Peter Urmson said, "We should all be very proud of how brightly Sydney shines during this magical time of year." And AAC was happy to be a part of the experience.
