The Chef’s Academy’s Glenn Brown Named Local American Culinary Federation Chef of the Year
Culinary Institute’s Culinary Instructor/Corporate Chef Recognized by American Culinary Federation Greater Indianapolis
Indianapolis, IN, March 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Chef’s Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 110-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers 40 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that Chef Glenn Brown, CEC, AAC, ACE, culinary instructor and corporate chef at The Chef’s Academy, has been named “Chef of the Year” by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Greater Indianapolis chapter. This award is given annually to a chef who represents himself or herself and the culinary profession to the highest level of integrity.
Brown is one of 16 culinary professionals selected on a national level to go on to compete for ACF National Chef of the Year. He will participate in the ACF sanctioned regional competition at the ACF Central Regional Conference, held at MotorCity Casino Hotel on April 14-16 in Detroit. One chef from each of the four regional competitions will become that region’s semi-finalist and will compete for National Chef of the Year at the 2012 ACF National Convention, held at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort on July 14–17 in Orlando, Fla.
