IMC Club Appoints Tim Busch as Regional Vice President, Central Region
Norwood, MA, March 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- IMC Club International, Inc. has named, Tim Busch of Cedar Rapids, IA, as Regional Vice President of its Central Region. The regional map can be seen at www.imcclubs.org.
“I want to welcome Tim to the IMC Club’s leadership team,” said IMC Club’s President Radek Wyrzykowski. “His experience and aviation achievements are really impressive. It is a pleasure to see him able to provide such a service to the General Aviation community. I would like to thank him for contributing his time and energy to the Club. Tim’s contribution to our mission will allow us to move forward with our regional structuring of the IMC Club.”
Other regional Vice Presidents are: Steve Cunningham of Nashua, NH, Jim Hendricks of Naples, FL and Michael Radomsky as Regional Vice Presidents of its Northeastern, Southern and Western Regions.
Tim Busch is a Certified Flight Instructor and Tae Kwon Do Master, President and Chief Flight Instructor of Iowa Flight Training, President of the non-profit Iowa Aviation Promotion Group, President of the recently opened IMC Club Chapter in Cedar Rapids and also regularly serves as a Merger & Acquisition manager at Rockwell Collins, a manufacturer of avionics and communications systems. He earned an MBA from the University of Iowa, a BS in Computer Science from Mount Mercy College, and an AS in Electronic Engineering at Hawkeye Community College. A frequent contributor to aviation-related magazines and newsletters and an annual speaker at AirVenture Oshkosh, Tim’s goal, as he likes to say, is: “(…) the eventual conversion of all drivers to pilots, reducing congestion on America’s roadways.”
Each Regional Vice President will oversee activities in their region by communicating with chapter heads, developing regional projects that helping build an aviation community spirit among members while developing new chapters.
The IMC Club is a membership based Non-Profit 501(c) (3) organization focused on instrument rated pilots and flight instructors, with a network of chapters throughout the nation.
The IMC Clubs purpose is to promote instrument flying proficiency and safety. The Club, through its nationwide chapters, provides organized “hangar flying” focused on building proficiency in instrument flying. It’s the only organization of its kind.
Believing that safety and proficiency are developed through education and experience, the Club’s monthly meetings use real-world decision making situations and provide a context for discussing instrument flying with other pilots both to engage members and allowing them to share and build their experience.
