Chapel Hill, NC, March 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Helen Oesterle Resnik, Managing Partner of Resnik Partners, one of the original founding firms for Career Partners International, is a nominee for the ATHENA Award, the highest honor awarded by the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce. The award is given to the Colorado woman who best exemplifies exceptional professional achievement, devotion to community service and generosity in actively assisting other women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills.

“I am so honored and thrilled to be among the nominees for this year's ATHENA award,” said Resnik. “So many women have supported me in my career, I am incredibly grateful for everything I've gained by knowing and working with the fabulous women of Colorado.”

In addition to coaching both senior leadership teams and high-level executives individually, she has led the expansion of Resnik Partners’ practice globally with her colleagues at Career Partners International and serves on the Board of Directors of Rocky Mountain HR | People and Strategy and as the Vice-Chair for the Board of Advisors of Dress for Success Denver.

ATHENA Award finalists and the ultimate award recipient will be chosen by a special panel of business and community leaders and announced at a black-tie gala to be held on April 26 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Denver.

As one of just 23 outstanding women nominated for the award, Resnik joins a slate of prominent Colorado women recognized by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce. Past ATHENA winners include Mimi Roberson, President and CEO of Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center and Paula Herzmark, Executive Director of the Denver Health Foundation.

“Helen generously and tirelessly gives of her time and energy to help others succeed,” said David Hemmer, president of Career Partners International. “She is a well-deserving nominee and we could not be more proud of her!”
