Leading Women Picked to Present 21 Leaders Awards
Reporters, Soledad O’Brien and Stacey Tisdale and Activist and Playwright, Eve Ensler will act as the roving reporters handing out awards at the Women’s eNews 21 leaders for the 21st Century Gala, 2012 to be held on May 3.
New York, NY, March 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Women’s eNews’ event is unique. As a nonprofit news service, presenters serve as reporters “on-the-ground” – presenting to each honoree at her/his table. Each honoree is highlighted individually, and every seat at the event provides a "front-row" experience to guests.
Soledad O’Brien is the anchor for CNN morning show Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien and special correspondent for CNN/U.S. Since joining the network in 2003, O’Brien has reported breaking news from around the globe and has produced award-winning, record-breaking and critically acclaimed documentaries on the most important stories facing the world today. She also covers political news as part of CNN’s “Best Political Team on Television.”
Eve Ensler, Tony Award winning Playwright, performer, and activist, is the author of The Vagina Monologues, translated into over 48 languages and performed in over 140 countries, including sold-out runs at both Off-Broadway's Westside Theater and on London's West End (2002 Olivier Award nomination, Best Entertainment) and has been running for 11 years in Mexico City and Paris.
Stacey Tisdale has reported on business and financial issues for more than 15 years. Ms. Tisdale authored a book which was released in September 2007, titled The True Cost of Happiness: The Real Story Behind Managing Your Money (publisher: John Wiley & Sons). A financial expert, Stacey appears on NBC’s Today Show, and reports for “Need to Know,” a weekly national broadcast on PBS. Ms. Tisdale is also a contributor to WowOWow.com, a website for women.
The 21 Leaders for the 21st Century will be honored at a Gala Dinner held at New York’s Jumeirah Essex House on Thursday, May 3, 2012.
