About June-Yi Lee, Ph.D.
Dr. Lee has had more than eight years of experience as an expert in research. She is presently serving as Researcher at the University of Hawaii’s International Pacific Research Center. She specializes in researching climate prediction on a global basis, focusing on dynamical climate predictability and predictions for intrapersonal to interannual variability, variability and predictability of the Asian-Australian monsoon system and the interdecadal variability and climate changes of the Asian-Pacific climate. Dr. Lee earned a B.S. in Earth Science Education from Ewha Womans University in Korea in 1997 and an M.S./Ph.D., in Atmospheric Sciences, from Seoul National University, also in Korea, in 1999/2003. She is the author/co-author of 20+ published journal articles. Dr. Lee is a member of the American Meteorological Society and currently resides in Honolulu.
