Another of Susan Mary Malone’s Writer Clients to be Published in April
Dr. Annabelle R. Charbit's “A Life Lived Ridiculously” to Hit Shelves in April
Dallas, TX, April 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Susan Mary Malone, (http://www.maloneeditorial.com/) developmental editor for writers working to get published, announced that another of her author clients, Dr. Annabelle R. Charbit, will be debuting her novel, “A Life Lived Ridiculously,” from Firefly Publishing in April 2012.
Dr. Annabelle R. Charbit grew up in London, UK, and has been writing since 2006. This her first novel. “A Life Lived Ridiculously” is a slice-of-life story filled with troubled family relations, scheming friends, problems worse than a Greek tragedy and romance that’s doomed on arrival; all told from the viewpoint of an obsessive-compulsive heroine named Maxine.
Dr. Charbit commented on working with Malone on the editing process of the book: “Susan was an amazing editor. She appreciated the novel, and offered great advice on how to make the story more appealing. She suggested twists and turns that hadn't occurred to me, and that greatly enriched the story. Susan and I worked as a team to make ‘A Life Lived Ridiculously’ the best read possible, and I felt that Susan really cared about the book as much as I did. Susan's extensive knowledge of the industry gave me the confidence to follow all her great advice, and the story would not be the success that it is, were it not for her input.”
Susan Mary Malone stated; “I just loved working with Annabelle on the book. When I’m examining every plot twist and character build-up, I still get so wrapped up in each story that I edit. This one’s a gem--she should be really proud of it. Not the least because the book is Mainstream, which is a Really tough field to break into nowadays! But with a book like this one I’m not surprised. She’ll go far.”
Susan Mary Malone has worked as a freelance editor since 1993, with a BS in Political Science and minors in English and Journalism. Her client list includes NY Times Bestsellers, Essence Bestsellers and books featured in Publishers Weekly. She is also an award-winning author of fiction and non-fiction herself. She participates as a speaker in literary conferences such as the Harriett Austin Writer's Conference (at the University of Georgia), the Blue Ridge Writer's Conference, the SouthWest Writer's Conference, and the East Texas Writer’s Guild, among others. Her full biography and featured list of published authors can be viewed at http://www.maloneeditorial.com
