About Sue McElroy, R.N.
Sue McElroy is the Administrative Coordinator and nurse monitor for New Milford VNA’s TeleHealth monitoring program. She has been with the agency for the past 14 years and has extensive experience in nursing. Ms. McElroy started at New Milford VNA as a primary care nurse and has been in a supervisory position over their rehabilitation therapist, home health aides and homemakers. She earned her R.N. at Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing in 1975. Her certification in Home Health Management is from Sacred Heart University in Trumbull, Connecticut. Ms. McElroy’s experience comes from her time spent at St. Joseph Hospital Post Coronary Care, 1975-81 and Danbury Hospital Post Coronary Care Unit, 1981-86 prior to joining New Milford VNA. She is affiliated with the American Diabetes Association and the American Association of Diabetes Educators. Her leisure time is spent doing water aerobics, reading, travel and family activities.
