TPI Makes Its Mark at MIPDOC

Cannes, France, April 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Factual doc distributor/producer TPI concluded its participation in MIPDOC (Cannes, France, 30-31 March) reporting strong interest in the new release "Call Of The White." The film follows the 38-day adventure of eight women who ski across the Antarctic continent to the South Pole. The diverse group of female adventurers are from Brunei, Cyprus, Ghana, Singapore, India, Jamaica, New Zealand and the U.K.

Ron Alexander, President TPI, reports that "over 40 buyers screened the film at MIPDOC and discussions are in progress regarding deals in numerous territories." Alexander adds that "there has been strong interest from major broadcasters in the "home countries" of the participants ranging from Singapore to India, among many others."

TPI followed its MIPDOC participation with exhibition at MIP-TV which is currently taking place at the Palais des Festival, Cannes, through Wednesday.
