Grab dad for a great day out with the family a the Colleyville Road Rally. Two or more people, in ordinary cars - on regular roads, within the legal speed limit, make up a Road Rally Team. The Colleyville Road Rally benefits the DFW Humane Society, and the PKD Foundation.
Colleyville, TX, May 29, 2007 --(PR.com)-- At this family friendly event, the challenge is to drive safely and accurately with the clues, directions, and somewhat cryptic instructions you are given by the rally staff. There may be puzzles to solve or fun activities to participate in along the way. They key is to have fun and enjoy the day.
Rally Teams will start by completing a task prior to getting their first set of directions. Timing controls, or checkpoints, may be found at various locations along the route. This is not a race, so speeding will cost you points, and a traffic ticket will disqualify you completely.
The Colleyville Road Rally will take place June 16th, 2007 with registration beginning at 7:30am and the Rally starting promptly at 8:30am. Teams will be comprised of at least one driver and one navigator. Lunch will be provided at the awards ceremony after the finish of the rally.
Teams will be provided numerous clues to direct you from location to location to complete the route. This information is super top secret and will not be disclosed before the Rally. Along the route, you will need to validate that each checkpoint has been found by deciphering additional clues. A picture is worth a thousand words, and you will have to prove it.
Texas Road Rallies are unique adventures to test your wit, common knowledge, speed control, creativity, team dynamics, competitive spirit, and especially your sense of humor.

Event Day Cost - $20.00 per Person
