Grapevine Wine Tours Adds Second Bus to Serve Rising Demand
More capacity, flexibility help fuel continued growth in Grapevine, North Texas.
Grapevine, TX, April 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Grapevine Wine Tours, the only daily tour operator serving North Texas’ award-winning wineries, announced today that it has put a second tour bus in service effective immediately.
The tours have grown steadily in popularity since they first began in July 2010. Consistently high demand for capacity beyond the 25 seats on the original tour bus has compelled the company to rent additional vehicles to serve its lunch and dinner tours.
“It’s gotten to the point that it makes economic sense for us to put another bus into operation, which is an exciting development for our company,” said Ladd Biro, co-owner of Grapevine Wine Tours. “We are getting a steady stream of large group bookings from the local hotels, as well as businesses across North Texas that are hearing great things about our tours.”
In addition to doubling internal capacity to 50 guests per tour, the company will continue to accommodate larger groups as it has done in the past.
“We’ve handled groups of 100 and more several times, and we’ll continue to do so,” explains Biro. “The new bus also gives us the flexibility to pick up parties further outside the Grapevine area without disrupting our regular schedule.”
A second bus will also enable the company to fulfill other frequent demands, including wedding parties, Christmas lights viewing tours, and group transportation to Cowboys and Rangers games and other destinations around the Metroplex.
Grapevine Wine Tours offers daily lunch and dinner excursions to each of the area’s award-winning wineries. Every four-hour tour is led by a professional guide and includes tastings at three wineries, a delicious meal, transportation to and from local hotels, and a tour of Historic Grapevine with its array of unique sculptures, shops and attractions.
Tours rotate daily between Cross Timbers Winery, DelaneyVineyards, D’Vine Wine, Farina’s Winery & Café, Homestead, La Buena Vida Vineyards and Su Vino. Lunch and dinner tours are affordably priced at $74.50 and $89.50, respectively.
