Vocal has been shortlisted for three CIR awards this year, making it the fifth consecutive year that the company has won or been shortlisted for one of the key awards within the business continuity industry.

This award category aims to reward bespoke providers of business continuity, disaster recovery and crisis communications services or solutions. At the core of the Vocal submission is the organisation’s goal “To create innovative business continuity and communication solutions by addressing specific customer needs.” The submission also detailed information on a number of key projects the organisation undertook in 2011.
iModus, Vocal’s emergency notification system has been shortlisted for the Most Innovative Solution of the Year. The iModus entry clearly demonstrated innovation in IT solution development. The award submission included information on the system’s global communications capability, innovative locate technology used to locate staff and help keep them safe, as well as how numerous capabilities that help organisations gain transparency their business continuity and communication functions.
In the Business Continuity Planning Software of the Year category, PlanManagement has been shortlisted. The product demonstrates innovation and functionality that supports organisations of all size to improve their continuity management.
