Not-For-Profit Network Announces Its First Awards Program

Queensland, Australia, May 30, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Australia's "Not-For-Profit Network" are running their first ever “Not-For-Profit Network’ awards program; this awards program will celebrate the achievements of all those hardworking individuals within the Australian Nonprofit sector (this is a national program) that rarely receive recognition for their efforts.

The winners will be announced at a star studded gala ceremony held on the Gold Coast on Fri 23rd November. This high profile event is being attended by many local and national celebrities who wish to support the Australian Non Profit sector.

The organisations, projects and people who make up the not-for-profit sector are largely unrecognised for the incredible work they do to benefit their stakeholders and our society as a whole. Resources are tight, hours are long, and thanks are rare. The team at Not-For-Profit Network believes that it is time for the not-for-profit sector to stand up, take hold of the microphone, and share their message with a wider audience. They've launched the Not-For-Profit Awards to help provide a voice and recognize those organisations, projects and people who are doing such great work.

These awards categories will recognise those people, organisations and projects that have made a huge impact on achieving their organisation’s vision. Awards have a strong focus on individuals, organisations, and projects whose actions help the organisation to be more sustainable, are focused on achieving the organisation’s vision, and contribute to the organization’s success.

Nominations for this exciting venture are now open nation wide until July 31. Those wishing to nominate should visit www.nfpn.com.au or call Shane Greaves at the “Not-For-Profit Network” on 07 3210 2288.
