The School recently had 26 students between the ages of 5 and 14 sing "The National Anthem" at The Harlem Globetrotter game played in Philips Arena on March 17. This group of patriotic performers was directed by PSSM teacher Jennifer Mulkey.
Later this summer, adult students Katie Hogan and Charlie Langston will each be singing the song at G-Braves games. PSSM will also have another large group of young singers perform prior to an Atlanta Braves-Philadelphia Phillies game on July 29.
And finally, PSSM teacher Matthew Kaminski, who is the official organist for the Atlanta Braves, has also played our National Anthem at Georgia Bulldog and Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket baseball games this this year.
"The School has a long history of giving back to the community by performing our National Anthem," says PSSM President and owner Brian Johnson. "We are honored to have so many opportunities to carry that tradition forward this summer. Our students and teachers are proud to sing the Anthem, as we are proud of them for doing so."
