Black Paw Photo Launches New Video: How to Use Google Business Photos to Market a Business Online
A new video by Black Paw Photos shows business owners how to market their business using a new premium product from Google that enhances the way a business appears in Google Search, Google Maps, and on Google Places.
New York, NY, April 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Black Paw Photo has just launched a new video that provides an instructional overview of Google's new Business Photos Pilot Program and how it can be used for marketing a business online. Google Business photos is a paid premium product offered by Google only through their network of highly trained Google Trusted Photographers. Black Paw Photo is a Google Trusted Photographer providing this new service in the New York City, New York, and New Jersey areas.
In this new 4 minute video presentation, Anthony from Black Paw Photo describes in detail all of the features of Google Business Photos and how they can help small to midsized businesses better market their products or services across Google Products. The Google Business Photos service provides business owners with a Virtual Tour and ten to fifteen professional high resolution still photographs that showcase all the important aspects of a business location. The video by Black Paw Photo illustrates how the virtual tour and photos change the way a business appears across three important Google products: Google Search, Google Maps, and on the Business's Google Places Page. Business photos does not improve a business's ranking in Google Search, but it will add images which enhance the way the business appears in the search results. The images and virtual tour added by Black Paw Photo draw more visual attention to a listing when it is among other search results that have not yet added Google Business Photos to their places pages.
As described by Anthony in the video, the new enhancements added to Google Search by Google Business Photos include windows that encourage users to take a look inside a business via the virtual tour, as well as a thumbnail of a still photo that links directly to the business owner's Google Places Page. Clicking on one of the virtual tour windows labeled "see inside" brings a user to a point inside or in front of the business from which they can walk around on a virtual tour by clicking arrows and dragging the screen for 360 degree views of the business interior.
He continues to explain and visually illustrate that in a Google Maps search, there is a big new window below the search result listing that lets users know they can look inside the business. Clicking on this window opens the virtual tour to the right in place of the regular map view, and allows users to walk around inside the business location and even zoom in to see things in the distance. The virtual tour can best be compared to those used by real estate companies to showcase homes, however, Google's version seems to have a higher level of interactivity and the ability to view the tour in full screen format.
On a business owner's Google Places Page, access to the virtual tour is available in the upper right portion of the page, just below the small map showing the business's location. When users arrive on a Google Places Page with the new Business Photos feature they will find an animated window below the small map which is tagged "look inside." The animation in the window moves through views of the virtual tour, and if clicked on will bring users into the virtual tour so they can start to browse.
The video continues on to cover the still photos that appear at the bottom of the business owner's places page. Here users will see any images uploaded by the business owner and this spot is also where the professional high resolution photos taken by Black Paw Photo or any other Google Trusted Photographer will appear. To see all the photos on a Google Places page, click on the "more photos" link. The professional images uploaded by Black Paw Photo will be labeled "From Google." This high quality set of images is designed to capture all the important aspects of the particular business location in a way that is both aesthetically pleasing and informative to customers. The professional photos marked "From Google" give an air of exclusivity to a Places page, since not too many businesses have been savvy enough to find this new service from Google so early after the launch.
Black Paw Photo is a NYC based Google Trusted Photographer and uses this video presentation to share their expertise in the usage of Google Business Photos in Marketing a business online through Google Products and a Company's own website. Black Paw Photo views Business Photos as the most interesting new business tech product to emerge from Google in quite some time and felt that an informational video on the subject would help raise the awareness of the new product.
