Krav Maga Orange County Participates in Portola Hills Elementary School’s Olympic Day
Krav Maga Orange County sponsors an exciting day of competition and fund raising at Portola Hills Elementary School.
Orange County, CA, April 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Every year, Portola Hills Elementary School holds its Olympic Day, a major fundraiser supporting the school’s Visual and Performing Arts program. The competitions include tug of war, sack race, obstacle course, running relays and basketball tosses. This year, as part of its community outreach, Krav Maga Orange County sponsored the event.
Sponsorship coordinator Sandy Schreiber said, “Our Olympic Day was a huge success, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. We had great weather for the day, so many parents turned out to watch their kids & the kids had so much fun!”
Krav Maga Orange County is continuing its commitment to the community it has been a part of for 20 years. It has also donated proceeds from its Home Invasion Self Defense Seminar to the Stop Cancer Foundation, donated proceeds from Youth Synagogue events to the Make a Wish Foundation, proceeds from FAST seminars to the Japan Tsunami Relief Fund, and offered free classes to female students of Fullerton College and the women of Orange County in response to two sexual assaults on campus.
