TouchSystems Announces Change in Ownership Status

Hutto, TX, April 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- TouchSystems is delighted to announce its status as a woman- and minority-owned business. The new status aligns with many of the company’s goals, one of which is to bring a new perspective to the company and its product offerings.

The TouchSystems Board currently consists of five members: Elena Woolstrum, Chief Executive Officer; Carol Nordin, President; Kathleen Stabile, Secretary; Tom Williams, Director; and Michael Woolstrum, Director. Carol Nordin, Tom Williams, and Michael Woolstrum have a longstanding history with the company. Elena Woolstrum and Kathleen Stabile are recent additions to the company and the board, but their presence is warmly welcomed by the other board members and TouchSystems’ employees.

When asked about the additions to and changes in the company’s executive structure, Williams explained, “We are a forward-thinking and forward-looking company. We always have been and always will be. It’s because of that that we chose to bring more women onboard. We needed different insights into the company and its direction, and a female presence offers that.”

Nordin is excited about her role with TouchSystems. She has worked with the company for over ten years in capacities ranging from financial officer to production manager. Her intimate knowledge of the company combined with her unswerving passion to see it succeed enables her to fill the role of president perfectly. She says, “I want TouchSystems to grow. I’m completely dedicated to Michael’s concept of ‘double-double-triple,’ and I’m doing my best to make that concept a reality.”
