Northeastern University College of Business Administration Professors Ranked Among World’s Leading Innovation Management Scholars
Scholars Position Northeastern as a Top Innovation Management University
Boston, MA, April 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Northeastern University’s College of Business Administration today announced that three of its professors were recognized for their contributions to research in innovation management in a study published by The Journal of Product Innovation Management.
The study analyzed nearly 1,200 articles in ten leading peer-reviewed academic journals and identified the top contributors to innovation management research. Gloria Barczak, professor of marketing, Edward McDonough III, professor of international business and strategy, and Marc Meyer, the Robert Shillman Professor of Entrepreneurship and a Matthews Distinguished Professor, were all honored for their contributions.
“These business professors have been leaders, contributing outstanding research that has brought the university recognition as a top innovation university,” said Harry Lane, acting dean, College of Business Administration.
The three scholars recognized by the journal are leaders in the field of business strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship. Both Gloria Barczak and Edward McDonough’s research focuses on new product development. Marc Meyer is active in the areas of new product development and entrepreneurship.
