Eleven Arizona FastFrame Franchises Team Up to Build a Picture-Perfect Home
The Valley’s Leader in Custom Framing Use Their Handicraft Skills for a Good Cause
Phoenix, AZ, June 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Eleven stores in the Arizona Market Area of FastFrame, a national franchise of high-quality, custom framing done in 24 hours or less, is teaming up to help Habitat for Humanity. On June 9, 2007, beginning at 6:30 a.m. FastFrame will lead a build day for the selected family, primarily focusing on landscaping and the finishing touches to the home.
In addition to the build day, each Valley FastFrame store will host a ‘Home Goods Drive’ from May 24-June 9. The stores will each involve surrounding community members, customers, other business owners or family and friends to bring in used or new home goods. They will be accepting items ranging from furniture to large appliances to home repair tools.
“We all have those things in storage or the back of the closet that we know we are never going to use again, yet are still hanging onto them,” said Kate Matsler, owner of Store # 310 on Camelback Rd. and 32nd Street in Phoenix. “The ‘Home Goods Drive’ is going to a great way to organize for summer while helping out a worthy cause.”
Those who donate items to the FastFrame Home Goods Drive will also receive special discounts and/or gift certificates as a thank you for their contribution.
To help welcome the homeowners into their new house, FastFrame has hired a professional photographer to take family portraits the week following the build. During the ‘Dedication Ceremony’ of the house, the family will be presented with their photographs—which will all be custom framed by the FastFrame experts.
The collaboration of all eleven Valley stores for an event is the first of its kind for the franchise owners.
“Even though we separately own each store, we are still all part of the FastFrame family,” explained Greg Stewart, owner of store #2109 on Chandler Blvd. and 48th Street in Phoenix and #3109 on Val Vista and Baseline in Mesa. “We really wanted to extend our abilities and service to the community and invite this family into ours.”
