"Good Life Tampa Bay" Expands Its Already Talented Crew with Experienced Television Personality

St Petersburg, FL, April 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- "In The Zone TV" Production Company, the powerhouse behind the popular television show "Good Life Tampa Bay," which brings you the people, places and things that make the Bay area such a fantastic area to live, is expanding its staff to include longtime television personality, Rebekah Wood. Wood has been in broadcast television for the past 15 years. Her previous experience includes being the morning anchor for the CBS affiliate in Duluth, MN., while she was still attending college. She then went on to anchor and report at the CBS affiliates in Madison and Milwaukee, WI. In 2008, Rebekah moved back to Minnesota to Co-Host “Twin Cities Live” a magazine style television show on 5 Eyewitness News. One year later she was promoted to morning news anchor where she stayed until she moved to Tampa Bay at the end of 2011.

Rebekah has interviewed everyone from Dan Aykroyd to Marie Osmond to the 2004 Presidential Candidates, but her favorite part of her job was sharing the stories of those in her community giving back to others. Rebekah was recently nominated TV Personality of the Year by the American Women in Radio and Television.

Rebekah has been involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, hosting the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon for 5 years as well as the charity's “Black and Blue Ball” and attending MDA Camp to see the kids in action. Rebekah is also active with the American Cancer Society and attends several “Relays for Life” annually, as well as raising money for brain tumor research after her husband was diagnosed with the disease in 2003.
