Senior Pastor Andy Thompson of World Overcomers Christian Church to Speak at the Potter’s House

Research Triangle Park, NC, April 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- World Overcomers Christian Church (http://www.wocconline.org), a nondenominational church serving worshippers in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park community, has announced that Senior Pastor Andy Thompson will be speaking to the congregation on Sunday, April 15 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at The Potter’s House, located at 9495 E. Florida Ave. in Denver, which is a campus of Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Dallas-based multicultural, nondenominational church. Thompson, a previous speaker at The Potter’s House, led by Pastor Chris Hill, will share a life-changing, Gospel-based message of hope and salvation during the services. A native of Philadelphia, Thompson received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston, as well as formal religious training at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Okla. He has been involved in Christian ministry for more than 25 years, and preached at Higher Dimensions Family Church in Tulsa before starting World Overcomers Christian Church in 2003. Today, the church ministers to more than 8,000 people each week and is one of the fastest growing churches in America. Thompson resides in Chapel Hill, N.C., with his wife of 20 years, First Lady LaShawn Thompson, and they have five children.
