ZipDoor™ Door Protection Now Available Through Builders Site Protection

Vista, CA, April 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Builders Site Protection announced today that they now distribute ZipDoor™; a new temporary dust control product made by award-winning manufacturer ZipWall®. ZipDoor™ is a great way to create an effective dust barrier for a doorway. Installation takes a single contractor less than one minute and creates a tightly sealed barrier. ZipDoor™ may save contractors hours on large jobs with many doors such as commercial office space, tenant improvement projects, hotels, hospitals, and more. It's also great for residential jobs like kitchen/bath remodeling or where renovation will disturb lead paint. The ZipDoor™ is a useful tool in helping contractors meet the EPA's Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule for hazardous lead dust containment.

ZipDoor™ saves builders money by not requiring contractors to purchase poles when all they need to seal off is a single doorway. The regular ZipDoor™ fits standard doors up to 3 ft. wide and 7 ft tall while the fire-resistant commercial ZipDoor fits 4 ft. wide by 8 ft. tall doors. It is made from 4mil thick plastic sheeting and includes two pre-installed heavy duty zippers. The zippers are glued on rather than stitched to maximize strength and durability. ZipDoor™ is applied using ZipWall®’s new double-sided tape, which makes it very easy to reposition if necessary within the first hour after installation. After an hour the double-sided tape bonds to the plastic and may no longer be removed. Components of the ZipDoor™ are all available separately through Builders Site Protection, including the double-sided tape, plastic sheeting, and heavy duty zippers.
