TouchSystems Goes Greener with Improved Recycling Program
TouchSystems announces its updated recycling program in honor of the upcoming Earth Day.
Hutto, TX, April 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- TouchSystems has added to its eco-friendly consciousness with an updated recycling program. The improved program includes more recycling bins, additional recycling days, and the recycling of materials other than paper products.
The changes to TouchSystems’ recycling program aren’t a surprise; TouchSystems has been a longtime supporter of green initiatives. The company boasts several environmentally-friendly monitors and a number of large-format displays with eco-friendly and energy saving features. The updated recycling program merely is another way to reinforce TouchSystems’ existing green efforts.
TouchSystems’ movement toward more recycling is paired with the upcoming Earth Day (April 22). Carol Nordin, President of TouchSystems, hopes that initiating the new recycling program will encourage other local businesses to do the same. She says, “It’s our duty to care not only for our customers but also for our environment.”
TouchSystems was established in 1996. The company was and continues to be a pioneer in the touch screen technology industry. TouchSystems is dedicated to creating a product that meets people’s needs and designs, manufactures, and distributes touch monitors, interactive digital signage displays, all-in-one touch computers, touch point-of-sale (POS) terminals, informational kiosks, and industrial controls and peripherals. TouchSystems, based in Hutto, Texas, is a certified woman- and minority-owned small business.
