Tias Arms Announces 6th Annual Event “Art Party in the Park” to Raise Funds for Orphaned and Abandoned Children Affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa
Newport Beach, CA, June 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Tias Arms announced today that its 6th annual celebration and fundraising event, this year entitled “Art Party in the Park”, will be held on Sunday, June 10th from 12 noon to 5pm at Park Prive in Costa Mesa.
As in previous years, this exciting event will include a silent and live auction with impressive artwork, hand-made articles and many unique items from around the world. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on a vacation in France, spa certificates, a sailing adventure and many other enjoyable experiences, with all proceeds going towards aiding the children in South Africa affected by HIV/AIDS. Also, this year attendees will enjoy African-inspired cuisine provided by Patina, as well as African music by Milele, poetry, face painting, tarot card reading, and an African head-tie demonstration.
Joanne Baker, Founder of Tias Arms, remarked, "Again this year, we look forward to an exciting and successful event focused on raising funds for this important cause. Every dollar raised or donated goes directly towards changing the lives of these children in a dramatic and positive way. It brings us joy to know that we can collectively nourish these infants and children, provide medical attention and furnish school uniforms for the small cost of a cup of coffee”.

Tickets are $55 for adults and $20 for children, which includes lunch.
