“Catwalk at the Stone” Benefitting Hope Center for Autism
Brownstone Kitchen + Bar Hosts a Fundraising Fashion Show Event to Raise Awareness for the Local Charity
Fort Worth, TX, April 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Brownstone Kitchen + Bar is hosting a fashion show fundraising event, “Catwalk at the Stone” to raise money and awareness for Hope Center for Autism on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. Numerous local businesses are donating high dollar gift packages and prizes to be won in a silent auction and through raffle tickets with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Hope Center for Autism. This is the second event as part of Brownstone’s seasonal fundraising fashion shows benefiting Hope Center. The first event, held in January 2012, raised $1,823.00. The goal for the May event is to raise over $3,000.00 for the organization. The event is free, open to the public, and located at 840 Currie Street in Fort Worth.
The Hope Center for Autism, located in Fort Worth, provides behavioral therapy to children with autism by focusing on language skills, cognitive development, self-help and the social and play skills necessary for successful and productive lives. The money raised from this event will provide support for local families affected by autism.
“Catwalk at the Stone” will feature summer styles and accessories by Maven, formally called Chiffoniers, hair by Esoterica Salon & Lounge, makeup by Lisa's Beauty Box, and airbrush spray tanning by Vanity Room. Ilfusion Creative is producing the event and providing DJ services. Other local businesses that have donated silent auction items and/or raffle ticket prizes include: The Skin Clinic, Smart Pack Gummy Vitamins, Beehive, The Velvet Box, Fitness 2000, Neiman Marcus, Pompeii Salon, Dr. Etheridge, Brownstone Kitchen + Bar, Aurora, Wink Threading, and Metropolitan DFW.
The fashion show charity event will kick off with a red carpet paparazzi photo shoot for all guests. All-night drink and appetizer specials can be enjoyed while Ilfusion’s CEO (and DJ) Jeff Langhammer spins the turntables. Miss Texas 2010, Ashley Melnick, and Esoterica’s Ale Bonilla will be co-hosting the fashion show. Amy Brown, fitness model and nationally qualified bikini class winner of the 2012 Ronnie Coleman Classic, will be a special guest runway model. The schedule is as follows:
