Uninterruptible power supply provider, Source UPS, is celebrating after receiving an award from a leading health and safety assessment scheme. The Hampshire-based company has been given SAFEcontractor accreditation after demonstrating high safety standards.

The uninterruptible power supply provider, based in Fleet in Hampshire, was presented with the award after demonstrating exceptional safety practices.
The SAFEcontractor programme is dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and compliance through industry specific tailored assessments for all sectors.
Source UPS has now been included on the SAFEcontractor database, which is only accessible to organisations that have signed up to the scheme.
The business was founded in 2009 and is an authorised seller of UPS power supplies for APC, Emerson, Zigor, Borri and Riello. The UPS supplier was also appointed as an Approved Partner for the Active Power range of flywheel UPS power solutions in March.
