President of Biggest Bark Marketing Services LLC to Wax Chest (and Put Video on YouTube) if He Raises $2,500 for Relay For Life
Lisle, IL, April 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Dan Mulka, president of Biggest Bark Marketing Solutions, has promised to wax his chest, ala Steve Carell in “The 40-Year Old Virgin,” if he raises $2,500 for Relay For Life. Mulka is also the volunteer event co-chair for Relay For Life Oak Brook Corporate, an event raising money for the American Cancer Society in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
“Last year, I promised to shave my head if I reached $1,000 in funds raised,” said Mulka, “I ended up hitting over $1,400 in funds raised. I knew I had to up the ante this year to bring attention to a cause I truly believe in.”
Mulka has been volunteering with the American Cancer Society since 2007, when his father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma. Although his father lost the battle a short year later, Mulka continues to try and bring attention to the cause.
He states that he struggled to think of his idea for this year. By strange coincidence, the movie he is emulating was on television when the idea stuck. “You never know where ideas will come from,” adds Mulka.
Donations to Mulka’s Relay For Life Challenge can be made at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/dmulka02.
Mulka is also contributing to the cause via his new venture, Biggest Bark Marketing Solutions. The marketing and social media management firm is donating 10% of their proceeds to the American Cancer Society.
