Charity Art Auction for Athletic Department to be Held at Hope International University
Hope International University will host Charity Art Auction, a fundraiser for the HIU Athletic Department on May 19.
Fullerton, CA, April 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, May 19, Hope International University will host Charity Art Auction, a fundraiser for the HIU Athletic Department. Hope, who has partnered with the company State of the Art for the event, will feature fine art on display for purchase and auction. Guests will also enjoy classical music and delicious hot hors d’oeuvres.
“We hope to make Charity Art Auction an annual, cultural event our whole community will look forward to,” Athletic Director John Turek said. “The proceeds from the event will be used for post season competition and enhancing our athletic scholarships. It is our desire that this event will be one that is highlighted on your calendar each spring.”
Artwork for the event is provided by State of the Art. Their collection includes lithographs, engravings, etchings, watercolors, silkscreens, originals oils, and more from artists such as Dali, Renoir, Chagall, Rockwell, Kinkade, Picasso, and Disney.
Charity Art Auction will be held in The Darling Pavilion on the campus of Hope International University at 2500 E. Nutwood Ave, Fullerton, CA 92831. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the auction starts at 7 p.m.
