New York, NY, April 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Gomolo.in, one of the top movie websites in India, recently shifted their site to a new domain, Gomolo.com. Ravisa Infomedia Pvt. Ltd. owned both Gomolo.in and Gomolo.com domains. Earlier users were redirected to Gomolo.in, if they visited Gomolo.com. With this change, now, the reverse will happen with users getting redirected to Gomolo.com, if they type Gomolo.in as the url. With this shift in domain, Gomolo has also dropped .in from their logo, giving it a more concise and crisp look.
Explaining the shift in the domain, Pritam Roy, Founder & CEO, Gomolo.com said, "When, we had started, we wanted to stress on our positioning as an Indian movie website. But, over the years, we have also built a formidable database for English movies and get good amount of traffic for international traffic for Hollywood movies." He also added, "We also had to remind our users and friends about .in part as people are used to type .com after a domain name. With this shift, we have made it a little easier for people to remember our site name."
