Welfare Bunnies is a comedy sitcom/pilot that tells the story of three dead beat bachelors that are forced to live their lives as human bunny rabbits after being cursed by a Hatian Voodoo Priestess/Bill Collector.
Los Angeles, CA, May 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Noted Special Effects Makeup Artist and Character Actor Rich Knight (CSI, NCIS, The Omen 666, X-Files) has announced that post production is complete on the pilot episode of the new, Jim Henson-esque comedy sitcom, Welfare Bunnies.
The pilot tells the story of three dead beat bachelors that are forced to live their lives as human bunny rabbits after being cursed by a Hatian Voodoo Priestess/Bill Collector.
The series offers loads of makeup and special effects as well as fun and laughs. The show is written and directed by upcoming filmmaker Ryan Maisel and stars Rich Knight (Escape From Darwin, The Tripping Fall, Frankenstein vs. The Creature From Blood Cove), Audra Morgan (Veronica Mars, Doing Hard Time) and newcomers Robert Boyd, Jeff Colwell and Christian Motos.
The series will be officially released on the internet via it's host site www.welfarebunnies.com (set to go live later this month). Sample video clips can now be viewed on youtube and myspace.
