Free Teleseminar Answers Questions on How to Get Published

Book publishing coach Diane Eble will interview former acquisitions editor Terry Whalin on how to get published by a traditional publisher, in a free teleseminar on June 5. (Replay available afterward.)

Winfield, IL, June 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Book publishing coach Diane Eble will interview former acquisitions editor Terry Whalin on what it takes to get published by a traditional publisher, in a free teleseminar on June 5, open to all who register at
http://www.askterrywhalin.com.

"More than 80 percent of all nonfiction books are sold from a book proposal," says Terry Whalin, author of more than 60 nonfiction books, including Book Proposals that Sell. Diane Eble, also an author and former editor, agrees on the importance of a strong book proposal. "The book proposal is key to equipping an editor with what he or she needs to sell the rest of the publishing house on why this book should be published," she says. Eble has sold every book she has proposed to date—11, plus one reprint.

On June 5 at 7:30 p.m. Central, Eble will ask Whalin questions submitted by those who register for the teleseminar. "Rather than come up with the content ourselves, we want to make sure we answer questions from those who attend the teleseminar," Whalin says.

To register for the call and ask Terry Whalin a question on book proposals or how to get published, go to http://www.askterrywhalin.com. Those who register will then receive call-in details, as well as a free hour-long audio workshop from Whalin called Straight Talk from the Editor: 18 Keys to a Rejection-Proof Submission. Those who register but cannot attend will receive an audio recording of the teleseminar shortly afterward.

Diane Eble is CEO of Words to Profit (www.wordstoprofit.com) and a book publishing coach with 28 years experience in publishing as an author, editor, copywriter and marketer.
