Teich Garden System at Copia Home and Garden to Again Benefit Person-to-Person
South Salem, NY, April 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Teich Garden Systems LLC announced today that the fully functioning 12’ x 12’ garden system at Copia Home & Garden in South Salem, New York will again provide vegetables and herbs for Person-to-Person.
The garden installed at Copia includes their integrated irrigation system, animal deterrent fencing and a small decorative pergola. The installation doesn’t only provide an opportunity for local garden enthusiasts to see for themselves what a Teich Garden System is all about but also benefits the community. Over the course of the growing season, beautiful cucumbers, beans, tomatoes and a variety of herbs provided by Copia will be planted in the garden. Vegetables and herbs harvested from the garden will be donated to the Person-to-Person food pantry in Darien, Connecticut.
Mark Teich, Founder and CEO of TGS, stated, “We are thrilled to be working with Copia again this year to not only bring one of our systems to the area that can be easily seen and experienced but to share the garden’s bounty with those who might not otherwise have access to fresh produce.”

Fresh vegetables are so important for healthy eating in all families, but access to those foods for low-income families is often limited.
