FilmCom Projects come in from all over the World
Nashville, TN, April 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- FilmCom Unveils Project selections
Stormedge: Rise of Darkness animation feature film from Singapore writer/producer, Joyce Hah, made the audience rise in admiration and Dealin’ A True Life Documentary Film Series about the deadliest battle that rocked the Pentagon, and changed the Afghanistan War, brought tears to the eyes of everyone in the room.
These two films were among over 250 films presented the night before at Titans Staduim where Mayor Karl Dean welcomed these filmmakers and the Industry Executives to Nashville. “We understand that we have film makers from as far away as Romania, Australia and Singapore and we hope you enjoy your visit here in Nashville,” said Mayor Dean. “We also welcome you to spend money while you are here.”
Many of the films unveiled were Award winners in other states. “Serena and the RATTS” just won Best Film, Best Actress, Best Director awards from the Muskogee Oklahoma Film Festival last weekend, and Cincinnati Film “The Many Monsters of Sadness”, picked from 2800 films, will have its world premiere during the Nashville Film Festival this week.
Film-Com is an annual packaging, financing and distribution market which directly connects filmmakers and their new projects to domestic and foreign distribution companies, as well as connecting all parties in the equation to P&A capital, banks, gap financing, co-production partners, packaging agents, product integration specialists and any entities related to the success of getting a film made and to market. This year Film-Com Events will bring new projects to Film and Television audiences around the world.
