DOW Networks Announces Addition of Carrier Relations Department
Atlanta, GA, April 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- As part of the greater effort to organically grow its business, DOW Networks announced today it has added a dedicated carrier relations department.
The new department is part of an initiative to further increase the call quality and service areas DOW provides to its customers and to grow partnerships in the telecom industry. “DOW realizes the importance of adding a carrier-to-carrier component to its current retail-only customer base. By adding this component, the company will increase the depth and breadth of its carrier network, lower costs, and increase the variety and type of carriers with which it works,” said Mark Patinkin, Senior Vice President, Carrier Relations.
DOW Networks’ Carrier Relations Department will work to enhance relationships with carriers, partnering with Tier 1 and incumbent telcos and next-gen carriers—providers of truly direct routes, DIDs and toll-free numbers for use by DOW’s global customer base. On the flip side, the company is looking for partnerships with interconnect partners who will buy DOW Networks’ core inventory of DIDs and toll-free numbers for use in their businesses or to sell to their carrier-partners. The company also plans to exchange routed traffic with a select group of partners.
To start establishing relationships in the global wholesale telecommunications community, Mr. Patinkin will be attending the International Telecoms Week in Chicago on May 14-16, 2012. DOW Networks has secured bilateral table P240 on the Purple Level in the East Tower of the Hyatt Regency Hotel to ensure carrier-providers and carrier-customers will have a place to meet and discuss partnership opportunities with DOW Networks.
DOW Networks is an international telecom company with network operation centers and offices in the UK, South Africa, Jamaica, Costa Rica and the US. DOW provides hosted VoIP telephone systems, call center monitoring and reporting solutions, international toll-free numbers, local telephone numbers, and other telephony products, to businesses and call centers all over the world.
