ROXOR Artisan Gin was the top award winner of the Design Award, which focused on Excellence in Structural and Graphic Design. ROXOR, a new brand in the spirits industry, was competing against a variety of global brands in almost every consumer goods category.
Houston, TX, April 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Institute of Packaging Professional (IoPP) recently announced its 2012 AmeriStar Competition award winners.
ROXOR Artisan Gin was the top award winner of the Design Award, which focused on Excellence in Structural and Graphic Design. ROXOR, a new brand in the spirits industry, was competing against a variety of global brands in almost every consumer goods category. ROXOR Gin is owned by New Artisan Spirits.
According to New Artisan Spirits founder, Don Short, “The ROXOR bottle design is inspired by beautiful buildings, not a bottle. It is one of the only spirit bottles with a name … the Skyline bottle … and is a toast to the architects that designed the great skylines of the world. “
Pavisa, the artisan glassmaker from Mexico City, manufactures The ROXOR bottle. The packaging company Tricobraun partnered with New Artisan Spirits and Pavisa to make the unique bottle.
This award is another stellar accomplishment for ROXOR Artisan Gin. At the end of 2011, ROXOR was awarded a triple Gold Medal in the 2011 Micro-Spirits Competition - a gold medal for taste, package and design. Father of southwestern cooking Robert Del Grande – a James Beard-awarded chef - created the artisan recipe.
ROXOR is now sold in Texas. It will begin a national expansion later this year.
