Cutting-Edge Kenworth T700 Has Near-Zero Emissions and is California Certified Clean Idle

The fuel-efficient Kenworth T700 has a Cummins ISX SmartTorque (ST) engine that meets EPA 2010 emissions standards and is California Certified Clean Idle, all while delivering up to 1,750 lb-ft of torque and increasing fuel economy up to 3 percent. As gas prices hover around $4, this premium engine will enable Longistics to do its part to conserve a valuable resource. The truck’s shape contributes to its fuel efficiency by merging the hood, fenders, roof, headlamps, bumper and fairings into a precise shape so that this Kenworth model has the lowest aerodynamic drag of any other Kenworth truck. The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and exhaust gas circulation system allow the T700 to produce near-zero emissions as well.
