MARR South Announces Name Change to TRADITIONS Recovery Center
New name reflects the center’s commitment to tried-and-true residential recovery methods.
Atlanta, GA, April 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In an effort to establish a distinct identity and uphold a commitment to traditional recovery principles, MARR South announced that its name has changed to TRADITIONS Recovery Center. “We are hopeful that the name change will differentiate TRADITIONS Recovery Center from the addiction treatment offered by our parent company, MARR, Inc.,” said Al Young, director of TRADITIONS. “We focus specifically on providing an extended structure for adult men as they re-enter the workforce.”
Intensive residential treatment increases a person’s chances of continued addiction recovery. TRADITIONS requires a minimum commitment of 120 days in the primary component of the program. An extended residential structure is available to clients who could benefit from continuing care (up to 18 months), as determined by the clinical and medical staff at TRADITIONS.
Spiritually based and tailored to address the issues men face in active addiction, TRADITIONS’ treatment program includes group, individual and family counseling, addiction and recovery education and relapse prevention. TRADITIONS employs the proven therapeutic community model, wherein clients share living space and learn to live healthier lives through shared accountability, responsibility, decision making and conflict resolution.
“By balancing the daily demands of work, groups, addiction treatment and home life, clients discover how to survive and thrive in sobriety,” said Young. “Our goal at TRADITIONS is to provide a safe and structured environment that gently puts them on the road to lasting recovery.”
