Human Trial III Brings End to Classic Trilogy
In the scifi cult classic Human Trial, the saga of the Turner family, the fighting spirit of Americans is captured.
Pittsburg, CA, April 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In 2008 Timothy N Stelly Sr. broke ground with his cult classic, Human Trial (All Things That Matter Press), an end-of-the-world tale about a scattershot group of small-town Americans who survive an alien-launched thermal war. The story challenged readers to ponder what they value and raised the question, :Who is the biggest threat to our survival, aliens or us?” Reviewers called the book “frightening” and “haunting,” and it earned a Book of the Year nomination from SORMag (Shades Of Romance Magazine).
In 2010 he came back with Human Trial II: Adam's War, which continued the saga of the Turner family, as they battle their way across country to become part of a Midwestern group that seeks to rebuild America, only to find that the colony’s leader is a turncoat and they again find themselves in the midst of two epic battles—in America's heartland and finally in the mountains of northern Mexico.
Now All Things That Matter Press is releasing the final segment of the Human Trial trilogy, Human Trial III: The Final Conflict. The story takes place twenty-three years after climate-altering attacks on earth, and Americans are on the onset of rebuilding. The new President, Thaddeus Lord, needs legendary military strategist Adam Turner to head up the country’s fledgling armed forces. Lord sends the beautiful, but equally battle-tested Tawanna Chenier to travel across the country to recruit Adam.
After the assassination of the President, Adam and Tawanna feel duty-bound to defend the country against a larger plot by South American Jorge Barbosa. The former drug lord has possession of a nuclear weapon and seeks the means to detonate it on American soil. Barbosa is also engaged in slavery, exploiting alien-human hybrids as soldiers and laborers.
With the country facing a potential nuclear strike, Adam and Tawanna lead 200 raw recruits into battle. Their efforts are hindered by a lack of resources, traitorous allies, and nightmarish logistics.
Despite the toils of combat, the attraction between Adam and Tawanna builds, but their focus is on victory, as they gear up for the western hemisphere’s most important fight for survival.
All three books are available from allthingsthatmatterpress.com, amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com, and are available in paperback and e-book (kindle or nook) editions. http://tinyurl.com/3fnzn3w and http://tinyurl.com/3rczwyo
